ListingsReady Pty Ltd (ABN to be inserted) (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you use our website at listingsready.com.au and our mobile applications (collectively, “the Service”). We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), role (agent/photographer/stylist), profile photo, business name, bio, and service areas.

Booking information: property addresses, booking dates and times, package selections, special instructions, guest names and email addresses.

Payment information: payment method details are collected and processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID but never your card number or bank details.

Communications: messages sent through revision threads, quote submissions, and contact form enquiries.

Usage data: pages visited, features used, device type, browser, IP address, and analytics events collected via PostHog.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and operate the Service; process bookings between agents and service providers; process subscription payments via Stripe; send transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, invoices); send marketing communications (you can opt out at any time); improve the Service through analytics and feedback; comply with legal obligations; and protect against fraud and abuse.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

Between users: When an agent books a photographer, both parties see each other's name, email, and booking details. Profile information (name, bio, areas, portfolio links, reviews) is visible to other users on the platform.

Service providers: We use Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and database), Resend (email), Cloudflare (hosting and CDN), Vercel (website hosting), and PostHog (analytics). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by Australian law, court order, or government authority.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption. We conduct regular security reviews and use Sentry for error monitoring. Our database is hosted by Supabase with automated backups.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we retain your data for 30 days (in case of accidental deletion) before permanently removing it. Booking records and invoices may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes.

7. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your account and data; opt out of marketing communications; and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have breached the APPs.

8. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how the Service is used and improve it. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised date.
