Manage bookings and grow your business

This guide covers everything from setting up your profile to getting paid. Follow these steps to start receiving booking requests from real estate agents.

1

Set up your profile

Register at listingsready.com.au/register and choose "Property Photographer".

You'll need your ABN (Australian Business Number) — this is required for ATO-compliant tax invoices that ListingsReady generates for you.

Once logged in, go to Profile to complete your setup:

Details tab: Add your bio, business name, service areas (suburbs you cover), and portfolio links (Instagram, website, YouTube).

Packages tab: Create your photography packages. For each package, add a name (e.g. "Standard", "Premium"), description, inclusions (e.g. "20 edited photos, floor plan, drone shots"), price, and estimated duration.

Booking Terms tab: Set your cancellation policy, delivery timeframe, payment terms, and rescheduling policy. Agents see these before booking, so be clear and professional.

2

Get discovered by agents

Your profile appears in the Photographers browse page that agents use to find photographers.

Agents can filter by area, rating, and price — so make sure your service areas and package pricing are accurate.

The more reviews you have, the higher you'll appear in search results. After each completed booking, the agent can leave a review with a 1-5 star rating.

Add your Instagram and website links — agents often check these before booking to see your style and quality.

3

Manage booking requests

When an agent books you, you'll receive a notification on your dashboard and an email.

Go to Bookings to see all incoming requests. Each booking shows the property address, date, time, package, and any special instructions from the agent.

Click on a booking to see full details. You can confirm or decline the request.

Once confirmed, the booking appears in your Calendar. The agent is notified automatically.

4

Complete the shoot and deliver photos

On the day of the shoot, mark the booking as "In Progress" from the booking detail page.

After the shoot, mark it as "Completed" and start editing.

When your edits are done, upload deliverables — add the link to your photos (Google Drive, Dropbox, Pixieset, ShootProof, or WeTransfer), label it (e.g. "Property photos — 24 edited images"), and click "Add Deliverable".

Mark the booking as "Delivered". The agent gets an instant notification that their photos are ready.

If the agent requests revisions, you'll see them in the booking's revision thread. Respond and upload updated files in the same thread.

5

Send invoices and get paid

Go to Invoices and create a new invoice for the completed booking.

ListingsReady auto-generates the invoice number and pulls in the property address as the description.

Enter the amount, GST, and due date. The invoice is created as a draft.

Click "Send" to email the invoice to the agent. If the agent has a bookkeeper set up, they'll be CC'd automatically.

If payment is overdue, a "Nudge" button appears — click it to send a polite payment reminder.

Download a PDF copy of any invoice for your records — every invoice includes all ATO-required fields: your ABN, business name, GST breakdown, and description of services.

Tips for growing on ListingsReady

Respond to booking requests within 24 hours — agents often book the first photographer who confirms.

Set realistic delivery timeframes in your booking terms. If you promise next-day delivery, make sure you can deliver.

Keep your availability calendar up to date to avoid double-bookings.

Upload high-quality portfolio links to your profile — agents check these before booking.

After delivering photos, the agent can leave a review. Great reviews lead to more bookings — aim for 4.5+ stars.

Consider offering package bundles (photography + drone + floor plan) to increase your average booking value.
