Cleaner matters, fewer phone calls
This guide walks through everything from setting up your profile to delivering Section 32s and billing for completed matters. Built around how Australian conveyancers and solicitors actually work with real estate agents.
Create your account
Head to listingsready.com.au/register and choose "Conveyancer" as your role.
Fill in your name, email, and password. After signup you'll pick a plan and enter your card — the 14-day trial gives you full access with no charge until day 15.
After signup, you'll land on a conveyancer-specific dashboard that's tailored to matters and requests, not the agent / photographer booking flow.
Complete your public profile
Go to Profile and add your business name (e.g. "Hawthorn Legal"), licence number, and licence state. These are how agents identify you in the directory and on their listings.
Add a short bio so agents browsing the directory know what kinds of matters you handle.
Add your social media and website links — same shape as photographer / stylist profiles. Agents browsing the directory see them as clickable platform icons.
Set your booking terms (engagement, cancellation, payment, settlement, other). These render on your public profile so an agent attaching you to a listing knows what they're signing up to.
Get attached to a listing
There are two ways an agent attaches you. They might already have you saved in their conveyancer contact book — in that case they pick your firm and the link to your registered account fires automatically.
Or they find you via the directory: they search by name, business, or state, and tap to attach. The system creates a contact record on the agent's side and links it to your account in one shot.
Either way, the moment you're attached, you start seeing that listing as an active matter on your dashboard.
Receive structured requests
Agents send typed requests instead of free-form emails. Pre-defined types include: Prepare Section 32, Prepare Contract of Sale, Title search, Review special condition, Amend contract / S32, Status update, Cooling-off confirmation, Settlement confirmation, Buyer's solicitor info, and Other.
Each request lands in your matters dashboard with the listing address, the agent's name, an optional description, and an optional due date. Open requests are sorted pending-first then by earliest due date so the auction-Saturday Section 32 lands at the top.
You also get an in-app notification, push (mobile), and email — same triple-channel pipeline that bookings use.
Move requests through their status
Tap a request to open it. Use the "Start" button to move pending → in progress when you've actually started the work.
When you're done, tap "Complete with document" to attach the deliverable (Section 32 PDF, contract draft, title search result — link from Drive, Dropbox, your CDN, whatever you already use). Or tap "Mark completed" if there's no deliverable (e.g. status update requests where the conversation IS the deliverable).
The agent sees the status flip in real time on their listing detail. They get a notification and an email with a one-click download link to the document.
Add follow-up documents
After a request is completed, you can still attach follow-up deliverables — e.g. you sent a Section 32 draft, the agent reviewed it, and now you're delivering the final amended version. Tap "Add document" on the completed request and attach the new file.
Each deliverable carries a label, the URL, and optional notes ("final after vendor changes"). The agent gets a fresh notification.
Manage settlement deadlines on the calendar
Every request with a due date appears on your calendar alongside any agent-scheduled meetings or events you've been invited to. Settlement Friday and auction Saturday come into focus at a glance.
Tap any calendar event to jump to the matter detail. Use the calendar to plan your week instead of scrolling email.
Bill cleanly
Generate invoices from completed matters with one click — same invoicing flow photographers and stylists use. ATO-compliant tax invoices with GST handled correctly.
Send to the agent, track payment status, and the system nudges overdue invoices automatically. Bookkeeper email is CC'd if the agent has one set.
